The inspiration behind Lou's Polewear Studios
My journey with pole dancing began five years ago – and from the very beginning, I was fascinated by the clothing we wear during training. I quickly realized how essential the right fit, strategically placed grip surfaces, and maximum freedom of movement are. Every turn, every pose, and every stretch showed me what really matters.
During my studies in Design Engineering, my initial focus was on knitwear. But my passion has always been to build something of my own, to create something, and to incorporate my identity into a brand. The desire to develop functional and aesthetic polewear grew ever stronger – and thus my mission was born: to create polewear that fits perfectly, offers optimal support, and supports every movement.
The exchange with other dancers in the studio was a valuable source of inspiration. We repeatedly talked about challenges with pole dance clothing – slipping waistbands, uncomfortable seams, or cuts that restrict movement. This is exactly where I wanted to start.
Pole dancing is more than just a sport—it's a passion, an art, and a community that unites. The energy in every class, the mutual support, and the shared progress are what make this sport so special. It's precisely this magic that inspired LOU'S to design polewear that's not only functional and stylish, but also conveys a sense of community. I'm currently training at La Belle Pole Dance Studio in Hanover to improve my form.
Each design is created with attention to detail to perfectly complement your pole moves – whether through tailored cuts, sophisticated grip surfaces, or adjustable elements. Our vision is to create clothing that not only supports you but also makes you shine during your training – just like the wonderful figures you create on the pole.
Making this vision a reality is our passion – for you, for the community, for the pole dancing experience.
Thank you for being part of this journey! 💗
